We have been given this award from other bloggers as well, but the first one came from Kyoti's Nails, so it is the first one we will respond to. It is a honor for other bloggers to recognize us and share us with their people.
The
basic rules are these:

11 Things About Both Michelle & Karen
- Michelle lives in Connecticut,
Karen on Colorado
- We have a ton of pets between
the two of us. Michelle has 5 birds, Bubba, JoJo, Freddie, Bluey and
Whitey. Karen has Jack, Spike Willow and also our mother’s cats Josie and
Zoey. Lots of fur and feathers!!
- We are a descendant of Hans
Christian Andersen.
- We are 2 and a half years apart
in age (Michelle is the oldest) but look like twins. People can’t tell us
apart!!
- Both are in the insurance
industry, and even started our careers in the same company.
- Michelle was a nail biter up
until about 3 months ago…Karen always had nice nails.
- Our polish addiction has taken
off, and we are now even try Indie brands…something we hadn’t even heard
of a few months ago.
- Michelle lived in Florida for 7
years.
- When the two of us hang out, we
do really stupid stuff...like car dancing to Black Eyed Peas and singing
along to Selena in our best Spanish.
- Glitter…need we say more.
- Since we live so far away, we
are trying to find things we can do together, and this blog fulfills that
for the two of us

- What is your favorite food? I
love anything barbecued…especially corn and steak.
- What was your first pet? The
first pet I actually remember was our cat Jake. He was the best!
- How big is your collection?
(pics please!) I am so disorganized, but I would assume I have about 100…I
have to get them all together to get some pics!!
- What's your favorite manicure
you've ever done? So far it would be my e.l.f. dark Navy and Cranberry
manicure. It looked so good!
- What is your personal motto?
Whatever you do, do well.
- Who is your favorite
author/what is your favorite book? Stephen King
- What movie or show could you
re-watch every week/month for the rest of your life? Titanic or Forrest
Gump – I know so sappy!!
- What's the one thing you can't
live without? My laptop
- What is your favorite polish
brand, either Indie or big-me, and your favorite color by them? I love
e.l.f. polish. The price is great, the colors are nice, and it dries
pretty quickly. It’s a great bargain brand.
- As a kid, what did you want to
be when you grew up? A dental hygienist
- What is your favorite hobby
(other than painting your nails!)? I love to read, but I don’t do enough
!!

- What
is your favorite food? Mashed Potatoes
- What was your first pet? The first pet we had for a long time was a cat name
Jake. He was a tough guy! We had some dogs before him but never had
them for long, so I count Jake.
- How big is your collection? (pics please!) I have one plastic container
bigger than a shoe box. I had a lot before I moved across the country but
was not allowed to take them so I gave a lot to my sister.
- What's your favorite manicure you've ever done? I did a chocolate brown
with a floral white stamping. It was my first successful stamping try.
- What is your personal motto? Never give up on your dreams.
- Who is your favorite author/what is your favorite book? Favorite
author...don't have one, but if I go by my favorite books it would be JK

- What movie or show could you re-watch every week/month for the rest of your
life? Movie? Probably 10 Things I Hate About You...early
Heath. Yum. As for TV show, that's tough but probably Family Guy.
- What's the one thing you can't live without? My laptop with internet!
- What is your favorite polish brand, either Indie or big-name, and your favorite
color by them? I don't have a true favorite - I buy a lot of different
brands and a lot of colors. Right now I love Timeless by Revlon...it's a
soft dove gray color. Great for stamping.
- As a kid, what did you
want to be when you grew up? A veterinarian
- What is your favorite hobby (other than painting your nails!)? I love to
bowl. Bowling is a lot of fun. :)
