Elle - Imperial Purple

So I'm a Kohl's shopper.  I love my 30% off coupons and I love my Kohl's Cash.  This past week I had $20 in Kohl's Cash to spend and this was a painful trip to the store.  I could not decide on ANYTHING!!  The clearance section wasn't doing it for me...  Shoes...  Purses...  NADA!!

So while wandering around makeup I found a tiny section of nail polish made by Elle.

It was originally $10 a bottle but I had $20 in Kohl's Cash!  So with everything I picked up (a pair of earrings and some body spray perfume) I grabbed a bottle.  Cost me less than $10 when all was said and done.

I decided on Imperial Purple.  This polish is really nice.  It's a nice thick polish with really good coverage.  The color was difficult to catch in a picture though.  When it was bright out our you were in direct sunlight it was different from when you were inside.  So I took photos with and without the flash and even a photo outside.

Enjoy!!

Zoya - Reece

So I got in my order of Zoya polishes!  So excited!  I was drawn to the duochrome ones, and so I started with Reece.  According to Zoya's website - they describe Reece as a Rose metallic duochrome.  A frosty hint of gold creates a unique "oil-slick" rose-gold.

Here she is!

I took two pictures - one with and without the flash because I wanted you to see the gold that was in the polish.

It's a beautiful mauve-rose color with a gold shimmer that is just stunning.

I liked the consistency too.  It was a thinner polish but covered well in the standard two coats.  Topped it off with some Seche Cite and voila!!!!

Hello Reece!!

Overall this is a gorgeous color that pictures do not do justice.

Different Dimension ~ Bazinga!!

I love The Big Bang Theory. So, while shopping on Etsy, I came across this store, Different Dimension. She has an entire line dedicated to one of my favorite TV shows. I had to have it!

So, this is the first of the series. So far, I am crushing on it and looking for other things to paint with this glitter. My husband has said no to painting his nails...any other takers??

Description from her site:  This polish has a yellow jelly base with different sized yellow and red hexes, as well as little red and yellow glitter.

Are you ready...

Now you can see why I love it. I put on 3 coats of Wet n Wild megalast in a color called Heatwave, which is pretty awesome by itself. Then 2 coats of Bazinga! and a coat of Seche Vite.  The formula is excellent. There was no fishing for glitter...it just came out like that!

I'm just sad that in a few days I will need to change this to something else...but I do have 3 more polishes in this collection to try...so stay tuned!!

Oh and...Bazinga!!
