Milani ~ Key West & Hi Tech

I am really loving Milani brand polishes. They are reasonably priced (around $5 a bottle). I want to introduce  you to Key West and its little buddy Hi Tech. Hi Tech is on the accent nail. This is their 3D Holographic line. I have 2 coats of Key West on each nail, and then 2 coats of Hi Tech on the accent nail with a finishing coat of Seche Vite. I love the combo of the blue-green and the sparkly lime green.

Key West is teal in color with tiny flecks of blue and green sparkle. Went on smooth.  Hi Tech is a 3D holographic. It is a greenish yellow color and it really does look like it has some depth to it. See for yourselves!

Maisie Shine - Fantasia

Sot his is my second experience with an indie nail polish designer and I absolutely LOVE this polish!!!!

This is Maisie Shine's Fantasia!!!

When I picked this up at her Etsy Store (CHECK THEM OUT HERE!) I figured it looked great in the picture and I had to try it for myself.  Actually I tried on our mom first, then repeated it on myself.  :)

On Etsy she showed pictures with two coats so I started with one...

Hmmm...definitely getting some glitter in there and the blue is coming through but not enough.  I then applied the second coat and BAM!

A whole different story!!  I think it looks great - this is with no top coat and it was already so shiny!

I then added top coat...

Oh that is MORE LIKE IT!!!!!

Overall I love this polish.  The glitter lays flat and the sheen is amazing!  Two coats and you have an amazing cobalt blue, glittery polish.  I have heard this is the it color right now.  I'm actually wearing a blue shirt in almost the exact color.  See?

So please check out Maisie Shine's etsy shop and buy some of her polish!  If this one is so gorgeous I can imagine the rest would be too.

China Glaze - Gothic Lolita

So on to my second bottle of China Glaze that I got.  This is a great year round purple.  Bright enough for summer, but soft enough for spring.  Muted enough for fall and heck it's just a great purple in general!!

Let me introduce you to Gothic Lolita by China Glaze.

This picture of the paint in the bottle does not do it justice.  I currently have this polish on my fingers AND toes because I fell in love with it that much!!  I went with two coats for the best coverage.

Here comes the remainder of the photo bomb.  And these pictures are without any top coat.

It's just a gorgeous purple and it goes on SO smooth!!  I would highly recommend this one for a year round regular use polish.  It's stunning!!

China Glaze - Fast Track - The Hunger Games Collection

This is Fast Track by China Glaze.  It is from the Capitol Colors Collection based on the The Hunger Games movie and book.  I got this on sale and I had to have it!!

It looks very beige in the bottle with maybe a little bit of shimmer to it.  Looks like it would be a very nice neutral.

Here is one coat...

Oooo, it's like GOLD!!!!!!!!  Time for another coat!!!

GAH!!!  IT'S SO SHIMMERY!!!!!!!  It has this amazing gold glitter effect in it.  Still a neutral but SO MUCH MORE!!!

I needed more photos!!!

Me with the bottle.

Me holding my water cup.

Me with a salt shaker.

Me holding a peach.

Me grabbing the door knob to our pantry.

If I could have found anything else to grab and photograph I would!  I am so in love with this neutral color.  It went on so smooth and not gloppy or anything!!!

SWOON...
